Description:

The PPH/PPR pipe production line is a professional manufacturing system dedicated to the production of PPR (polypropylene random copolymer) pipes and PPH (polypropylene homopolymer) pipes.

The main function of the PPH/PPR pipe production line is responsible for melting, molding, cooling the PPH/PPR material to form pipes with consistent size and performance. This production line usually includes an extruder, a die head, a vacuum sizing tank, a haul-off machine, a cutting device, and a stacker. The extrusion process ensures uniform distribution of the material and can produce high-quality pipes with excellent resistance to corrosion, wear, and chemical exposure.

What’s the difference between PPR pipe and PPH pipe?

1. Material Composition:

PPR pipes are made from a type of polypropylene known as a random copolymer. This material is used to provide balanced properties, including high temperature resistance, good chemical resistance, and excellent impact strength.

On the other hand, PPH pipes are made from polypropylene homopolymer, which is composed of a single type of propylene monomer. PPH has high rigidity, good high temperature resistance, and excellent chemical resistance.

2. Heat Resistance:

PPR pipes are known for their excellent heat resistance, making them suitable for hot and cold water distribution systems. Depending on the specific grade and manufacturer specifications, they can withstand temperatures up to 70-95°C.

PPH pipes also have high temperature resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 100-110°C for hot water and certain chemical delivery systems.

3. Chemical Resistance:

PPR pipes have good resistance to a wide range of chemicals, making them suitable for a variety of piping and heating applications.

PPH pipes are known for their excellent chemical resistance, especially against acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, making them suitable for industrial piping systems where chemical resistance is critical.

4. Flexibility and impact strength:

PPR pipes are known for their flexibility and high impact strength, which makes them suitable for installation and resistance to mechanical stress.

PPH pipes are relatively rigid and have good impact strength, making them suitable for applications where structural integrity and dimensional stability are required.

5. Applications:

PPR pipes are commonly used in plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial buildings.

PPH pipes are often used in industrial applications, chemical processing plants and laboratories where resistance to corrosive chemicals and high temperatures is required.
